Lemongras

Lemongras looks like a small drumstick. It is only used for seasoning food. It is taken out of the dish before serving, since you cannot eat it. Lemongras tastes similar to lemon. Fresh lemongras can be stored in the refrigerator and can also be frozen. As a substitute you can use strips of lemon peel.
